I used skin, feathers and fur combined to create this hybrid creature.
Her cave woman skin is very detailed with lots of dirt, scratches and a rough skin texture to illustrate the harsh environment she lives in. Her hair is matted and oily, and her clothes are made from animal skins showing wear and tear.
I created feathers with soft fur underneath the feathers to give him a fuller look, and he has fish scales on his belly, a crocodile beak and a fish tail.
In this shot I made Ugga’s skin appear leathery and her eyebrows ungroomed, and I added a little bit of sunburn to her weathered skin.
